In addition to the LV series of radial lead type conductive polymer aluminum solid electrolytic capacitors for industrial machinery applications that demand high withstand voltage and high reliability, Nichicon Corporation has added the CV series as another chip type range of capacitors with rated voltages of up to 63 V, which is the highest level in the industry.Overview and development background Since aluminum solid electrolytic capacitors that use conductive polymers for cathode materials have superior ESR1 characteristics in the high frequency range, they are frequently used in computers, computer peripherals, flat screen televisions and other digital equipment. In addition to low ESR, other features include higher ripple current resistance and stable product performance over a wide operating temperature range.Features By further optimizing the polymer formation method, component structure and element design in this product, we have realized a model with a rated voltage of 63 V, which is the highest level in the industry and exceeds the 50 V model that we released last year.
Moreover, we have realized equal capacitance values in models that are even more compact than those that we introduced last year.
